203 Yelten Thermal Insulation Board Plaster Mortar - Fiber Reinforced

203 Yelten Thermal Insulation Board Plaster Mortar - Fiber Reinforced
DESCRIPTION:
A cement-based, polymer-enhanced, high-performance, fiber-reinforced plaster mortar with fine aggregate, specially prepared for use on thermal insulation boards.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION:
Used as a surface plaster on insulation boards (EPS, XPS, and Rockwool) in both interior and exterior environments.
TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
Appearance: Grey colored fine powder
Powder Density: ~ 1.50 kg/L
Water Mixing Ratio: 5.5 - 6.5 L water / 25 kg powder
Resting Time: 5 - 10 minutes
Pot Life: ~ 2 hours

Thermal Conductivity: 0.61 lhW/mK (TS EN 1745 - Table A12) (P.50%)
Service Temperature: -20°C / +70°C
ADVANTAGES:
Easy to apply, provides excellent adhesion.
Resistant to water and frost.
Unaffected by temperature changes.
Flexible and provides high stability, preventing sagging and cracking.
Permeable to water vapor, allowing the surface to breathe.
Can be overpainted directly.
CONSUMPTION:
3 - 4 kg/m2 (Varies depending on the application method.)
APPLICATION SURFACE PREPARATION:
The application surface and boards must be clean and free from dust, oil, tar, bitumen, paint, silicone, curing agents, detergents, and mold oils.
The boards should be secure and properly placed.
PREPARATION OF THE MORTAR:
Add 25 kg of Yelten Thermal Insulation Board Plastering Mortar - Fiber Supported in approximately 5.5 - 6.5 liters of clean water and mix with a low-speed mixer until there are no lumps. Leave the mortar to mature for 5 – 10 minutes, stir again 1 – 2 minutes before use. Use the mortar within 2 hours.
APPLICATION:
Apply the first layer of plaster (approximately 2 mm thick) on the insulation boards with a steel trowel at least 24 hours after the boards are anchored.
While the plaster is still wet, press and stretch the reinforcing mesh from top to bottom into the plaster.
After the first layer with the mesh has partially dried, apply a second layer of plaster (2 mm thick) to completely cover the mesh.
Overlap the mesh by 10 cm at the joints to prevent cracking.
Use a corner profile with mesh for corners.
Wait 2 - 3 days for painting, depending on weather conditions and application thickness.
If the temperature is high, moisten the surface until the cement sets.
PRECAUTIONS:
Avoid application at temperatures below +5°C and above +35°C.
Do not apply on frozen surfaces, surfaces at risk of freezing within 24 hours, or areas exposed to direct sunlight and wind.
Avoid applying if snow or severe cold is expected within 1 week unless protective measures are taken.
Do not add water or powder to expired mortar.
Avoid using boards that have lost their properties due to prolonged sun exposure.
PACKAGING:
25 kg PE-coated kraft bags
SHELF LIFE:
Can be stored for 6 months on a pallet with a maximum stack of 10 layers, in unopened packaging and in dry conditions. The production date is indicated on the packaging.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
Avoid contact with food, skin, eyes, and mouth during use and storage.
Wear appropriate work clothing, protective gloves, goggles, and a mask during application, following occupational health and safety regulations.
If swallowed accidentally, consult a doctor. In case of skin contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
Store out of the reach of children.
