CONSTRUCTION & SILICA SANDS

SILICA SANDS

Product Description and Features
Natural Quartz (Silica) Sand: Silica sands produced in our facility have pure quartz content obtained from natural beds; no particle crushing process has been performed.

Heat Treatment: Products are dried with hot air at a maximum of 120°C. The material is not directly exposed to fire; the grain structure is preserved, durability and chemical stability increase.

Grain Sizes: Between 0.1 mm - 35 mm, customer-specific crushing and screening options for different applications.

Chemical Purity: SiO₂ content ratio between 90% - 99%, spectrum that can vary depending on the product batch.

Color and Appearance: Natural yellowish tones close to beach sand; homogeneous distribution.

Logistics and Packaging: Location advantage; fast road shipment from our facility 180 km away from Istanbul.

Package Options: 25-50kg kraft bag, 1500kg jumbo bag, bulk vehicle delivery.

Export Preparation: CE marked packaging and international shipping infrastructure.

CONSTRUCTION SANDS AND GRAVELS

Construction sands and gravels are important materials in the construction industry and have various uses. Here are the main areas of use:

Construction Sands

  1. Concrete Production: Construction sand is one of the basic components of concrete and ensures durability by increasing the strength of the concrete.

  2. Mortar and Plaster: Sand is used together with binding materials in mortar and plaster mixtures to facilitate the surface coating process of the structure.

  3. Infrastructure Projects: It is used as filling material in road construction, railway beds and other infrastructure projects.

  4. Brick and Block Production: It is used in the production of bricks and building blocks by mixing with clay and other materials.

  5. Waterproofing and Drainage Systems: Construction sands are used to increase the efficiency of drainage systems and provide waterproofing.

  6. Playgrounds and Landscaping: It is preferred for decorative and functional purposes in parks, playgrounds and landscaping projects.

Pebbles

  1. Concrete Production: Gravel is an important aggregate material that increases the durability and volume of concrete.

  2. Foundation and Ground Fill: It is used to strengthen the foundation of the structure and ground fills. Gravels increase the stability of the structure by better distributing the ground pressure.

  3. Drainage Systems: Gravel prevents water accumulation by providing rapid drainage of water and helps protect structures from water damage.

  4. Road Construction: It provides durability in road construction by using it in the lower layer of asphalt and concrete roads.

  5. Landscaping: Used for both aesthetic and functional purposes in gardens, walking paths and decorative areas.

  6. Water Purification Plants: Gravel is used in the filtration layer of water purification systems for the physical purification of water.

These materials are the basic elements of construction projects and are of critical importance in ensuring construction quality and safety. Both sands and gravels are indispensable elements of the construction industry and are suitable for various projects in different sizes and qualities.
