Used for bonding and masonry applications of highly absorbent building materials such as gas concrete (aerated concrete), pumice blocks, bricks, and similar substrates.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE:

A maximum of 10 kraft bags may be stacked on top of each other during storage. Products must be stored in dry conditions and protected from moisture and water exposure.
Shelf life is 6 months when stored unopened in a dry environment. The production date is printed on the packaging.

APPLICATION INFORMATION:

• Mixing ratio: 6.0–7.0 liters of water per 25 kg powder

• Pot life: Approx. 2 hours

• Application temperature: +5 °C to +35 °C

 

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

• Application surfaces must be clean, dry, smooth, sound, and free from dust, dirt, oil, or similar contaminants.

• To compensate for surface irregularities, the first row of blocks should be carefully leveled. This procedure is not required for subsequent rows.

 

APPLICATION METHOD:

Slowly add 25 kg of GY500 Yelten Gas Concrete Adhesive into 6.0–7.0 liters (24–28%) of clean water and mix with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous, lump-free consistency is achieved.
Allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes, then remix for 1–2 minutes before application.

Apply the adhesive evenly to the surface using the flat side of a notched steel trowel, then comb with the notched side according to the required notch size.
During masonry work, horizontal and vertical joints should not exceed a width of 3 mm and must be fully filled with adhesive.
The aerated concrete blocks should be placed within 10–15 minutes after adhesive application.
Once bonding is completed, plaster application may begin.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

After application, protect the surface from water contact for at least 24 hours.
Do not apply in freezing conditions, on overheated substrates, under direct sunlight, or in strong winds.
Do not use products that have hardened or set after opening.

 

HEALTH AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

As the product is cement-based, avoid inhalation and prevent contact with skin and eyes.
The use of appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, safety goggles, mask, knee pads, etc.) is recommended during application.
