SURFACE PREPARATION
Substrates must be structurally sound, fully cured, clean, and free from dust, oil, grease, and other contaminants. Weak or polished surfaces should be mechanically roughened. Non-absorbent substrates must be primed prior to application. Overheated surfaces should be pre-dampened to reduce surface temperature. Damaged or defective areas must be repaired using Yelten TH 530 Repair Mortar.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Add 25 kg of YELTEN SL410 gradually into 5.5–6.5 liters of clean water and mix using a low-speed mixer (approx. 400 rpm) until a homogeneous, lump-free consistency is achieved.
Allow the mixture to rest for 3 minutes, then remix briefly before application.
Apply evenly using a steel trowel and adjust thickness accordingly.
Use a spike roller to remove entrapped air and ensure optimal surface quality.
Apply continuously without interruption for best results.
IMPORTANT NOTES
-
Protect freshly applied surfaces from direct sunlight, rain, and frost for at least 24 hours
-
Do not use hardened or partially set material
-
Do not add foreign materials such as lime, cement, or gypsum
-
Follow the recommended water ratio strictly
-
Provide expansion joints every 30–40 m² depending on site conditions
-
Not suitable for direct application on metal, rubber, PVC, or wood
HEALTH & SAFETY
Contains cement; avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
Use protective gloves and, if necessary, a dust mask during application.
